More than a dozen apartments, once reserved for the adjacent church and those involved with it in their daily lives, scrupulously restored down to the smallest detail to become a contemporary refuge from the bustle of city life. Under the careful guidance of the heritage bodies, every space, whether common or private, has been restored according to the most enlightened and up-to-date tenets. A crucial choice has been the decision to use only natural materials such as stone, marble, natural wood, and corten weathering steel. These are combined with the original features that have been rigorously retained and integrated wherever possible, such as the window in the atrium leading to the main staircase.
Focus On
This is also the case for the bathrooms, with the use of travertine and marble cladding for bespoke fittings, making the most of the potential of the spaces themselves, with an effect that has all the flavour of an elegant past, coupled with the very latest in comfort and no compromising on the best in aesthetic appearance.
