Project: Alexander Bellman con Gruppo C14
In the heart of Milan, a one-of-a-kind apartment has been renovated in a way that honors and integrates the building's historic charm with contemporary design elements. The palazzo, already celebrated for its rich history, possesses a complex and subtle appeal, bearing the marks of creative geniuses such as Gio Ponti and Lucio Fontana.
The project by architect Alexander Bellman, with Gruppo C14, revolves around the concept of duality: preserving and enhancing the original details while simultaneously creating a contemporary and functional space. These two systems coexist through an artful interplay of materials and color palettes. Right from the entrance, the residence presents itself as an enigma. Five doors and a sinuous staircase greet the visitor in a uniquely unpredictable way.
From the dining room to the sleeping area, the project's contemporary dimension unfolds. Grazing light sweeps across the textured walls and their sophisticated tones, while sharp cuts of light create evocative effects that accentuate the minimalist forms. Perfectly integrated, flush-to-the-wall doors complete a space dedicated to both elegance and functionality.

SPACES
The bathrooms represent a further highlight of the project, where fine materials and innovative solutions merge with an almost textile-like inspiration, giving shape to weaves of stone and marble with a sophisticated aesthetic. The hues chosen for the surfaces lend character and uniqueness to the spaces, thanks to their natural veining and contrasting color schemes.
